LASER FACIALS
Laser Facial is an effective solution to help treat a number of skin concerns, including skin texture and tone, wrinkles, acne, collagen production and some forms of pigmentation.
What is it?
The Laser Facial is your go to if you have multiple concerns you would like to treat at the same time. Its great for time poor people and can be performed during your lunch break with no downtime! Ok so maybe a little downtime, usually your skin will looked 'flushed' with a warm glow, easily covered with mineral makeup.
Q Switch is not only becoming increasingly popular for its incredible results, but it is also a non-invasive, less risk adverse and no downtime treatment with less side effects compared to other laser options.
The laser facial will give you overall skin rejuvenation and is suitable for those wishing to shrink pore size, minimise skin unevenness and discolouration (such as age spots, sun spots, freckles and pigmentation) and reduce the appearance of acne scars. It is effective at improving the overall texture of your skin and minimises tell tale signs of ageing.

Before your laser treatment in our Dubbo skin and laser clinic, you’ll have an in depth consultation to help create a personalised treatment plan for you. This is based on an assessment of the treatment area, as well as your medical history. Client safety and care is of the utmost importance to all of us, and therefore this will ensure your happiness and well-being, and that you receive the results you deserve.
What To Expect
Your skin is cleansed. The Q-switch laser will be passed over the skin surface, the sensation will feel like warm rain. You will here a slight snapping sound which will diminish in time.
You will start to see the real benefits after 4-5 treatments and for the best results we recommend you will need 10+ treatments.
It’s a relaxing procedure that simply requires you to sit back and drift off if you so wish. Your skin will be left plumper, firmer and soft to the touch. After your first treatment you will notice your skin looks rejuvenated and refreshed.
The Laser Facial is a completely safe skin treatment, with no reports of major skin complications or painful side effects.
Preparation
If you have recently waxed or had laser hair removal on the area, we recommend waiting 1 week prior to having your Laser Facial. Full sun exposure is to be avoided 2 weeks before & 2 weeks after your treatment. Fake tan applications are to be avoided 2 weeks before your treatment and must be completely removed prior to attending your appointment.
Post-treatment
You may notice some slight redness, and experience some tingling, but this will both subside post-treatment.
No downtime is required, and you will be able to resume daily activities straight away.
Freckles and age spots may become darker and will form a crust. It is best to let nature takes its course and allow the crust to fall away.

Number of Treatments
As with all Laser therapy treatments, the frequency and number of treatments will depend on your skin type, area affected, and the size of that area.
Generally, laser skin rejuvenation usually requires 4 to 10 treatments spaced 1 to 2 weeks apart.
Maintenance laser treatments are recommended every 6 to 8 weeks after the initial course of laser treatments, also can be used in combination with other skin treatments to maximise results.
What Areas Can Be Treated?
Most common areas of treatment include the face, neck, hands and décolletage.
Treatments are relatively fast, provide little to no discomfort, and have no downtime – which means you are able to carry on with your day after your treatment with no inconvenience.

At times we may need to refer clients to their General Medical Practitioner for assessment and when in doubt will not treat until a Medical Clearance is provided. SPF must be worn daily.
